Here you will find general troubleshooting tips and details of how and where to download software. Additional/Replacement User/Engineer Manuals/Instructions are available upon request from your ECSO supplier or via mailorder from ourselves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ecso Arrow Where can I download software ?

Download the latest software from here :-

> Main system driver (226 Kb)

> Main Control System (17.9 Mb)

> Remote Viewing System (12.9 Mb)

> Multi-Site Monitoring Station Control System (9.3Mb)

> Digital Signature Verification Utility (1.7 Mb)

> Microsoft Direct X (34.3 Mb)

> Stand Alone Recording Player (2.1 Mb)

Remember you must update the software after downloading the installation file above..

Ecso Arrow How do I update the software ?

To Update software,

  1. goto System Setup
  2. goto Network
  3. click on the bottom right box 'Smart Update'.

Ecso Arrow CCTV System unit does not power up.

Check the power lead fuse. there are no user serviceable parts inside. it is recommended that you contact your local supplier of ECSO CCTV systems.

Ecso Arrow Systems starts but will not show CCTV Control System.

Check the drivers are correctly loaded in the control panel, if not then

  1. download the driver
  2. run the driver util and uninstall the driver fully
  3. restart pc
  4. point the device manager to the correct location, eg c:/ecso/dvr/driver
  5. restart pc after loading driver, BEFORE starting CCTV Software!

Ecso Arrow Camera does not appear on screen.

Check the leads at the back of the camera in case of loose connection. Check the appropirate lead at the back of the CCTV System unit.

Ecso Arrow Remote PC will not connect to server.

This is a problem that really needs to be resolved by a networking engineer. But you can check the basics :-

  1. Correct name/password and machine names.
  2. Correct ports are listed on all machines.
  3. Firewall is correctly configured.
  4. If using router you must use DDNS.
  5. Dynamic IP Addresses are not recommended

Ecso Arrow Images are not in Colour.

If your cameras appear to be in Black & White then you need to change the Video Format.
Click on the SETUP button (which look like two little screws) then click on CONTROL and make sure that the “Video Format” on the top right hand side of the screen says “PAL_B,D,G,H,I”.

  1. Go into SET UP
  2. Go into CONTROL
  3. Go top right hand corner, drop down VIDEO FORMAT
  4. select PAL B,D,G,H,I
  5. Exit

Ecso ArrowHow Do I Change The recording Drive ?

  1. Note the existing drive in use
  2. Exit Software
  3. Run REGEDIT
  4. goto Local Machine
  5. goto Software
  6. goto DVSs4DB
  7. DELETE this KEY!
  8. Exit REGEDIT
  9. Locate the folder 'DVSSDATA' on the existing drive
  10. DELETE this FOLDER!
  11. Restart Software and select Recording Drive.
